All members of the Camp Ben Delatour Expedition (last count 37) will need to pack a lunch for Saturday July 7. The Saturday dinner and Sunday breakfast will be in the airmen's mess hall (cafeteria style). The boys will need to bring money for these meals which range from one to two dollars. Sunday's sack lunch meal will be paid for by the troop. If any of the boys would like to have an adult hold their money during the week, please ask any one of the adults to do so.
I know that as we follow the SCOUT OATH and SCOUT LAW that we will not have any problems at camp concerning rules or discipline. It may be helpful for parents to go over the rules of camp guide with their son; so that their are no misunderstanding if camp rules are broken and parents are called to pick up their son.
Our trip home on July 14, will be straight from camp with no overnight stay. Each boy will need to set aside $5 for a fast food lunch on the trip home. We will arrive in Lincoln at St. Joseph's east parking lot sometime around 6:00 p.m.
I'm sure the boys are looking forward to a great week at camp. I know the adult leaders are too, With everyone's cooperation and SCOUTING SPIRT this should be an adventure filled with positive and lasting memories.
